The IRS has announced it's opening day for electronic filing for the 2026 filing season.
Business and entity returns, including Forms 1120, 1065, and 990, can be electronically filed starting on Tuesday, January 13, 2026.
The opening day for individual returns, including Form 1040, will be Monday, January 26, 2026.
